A big shout out goes to our friends at 360Sync, as they've ended the week with a juicy story. All 50 achievements for Microsoft and Ensemble's Halo RTS, Halo Wars, have been uncovered and are up for your viewing pleasure and/or critiquing.
Due out on February 26th and 27th for Japan/Asia and March 3rd for North America, South America and Mexico, you'll be chasing things like completing the campaign (an obvious Halo necessity), completing "x" objective during certain missions, completing co-op games, winning multiplayer games and ranking up over Xbox LIVE, finding hidden skulls and - easiest of all - playing the game for 24 hours total. There are also 5 hidden Gamerscore Points, but we'll have to wait until the title is in our hands to know what they entail. Most likely.
Hit the jump to view the list. |

Just in time again, unless you have already picked up your copy of the new Prince of Persia today. At least the rest of us can now make our Achievement check lists now and by the looks of it, the first couple hours should pay us off with quite a Gamerscore boost and who wouldn't to play Ubisoft's next great title as Altair. Just make sure Elika saves you less than 100 times through your journey to pick up the 100 "Be Gentle with Her" Achievement. Check out the full list after the jump. |

50 sure seems to be the magic number lately when it comes to available achievements for any one Xbox 360 title and that is exactly what you get with Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe. Only five online achievements make this an offline gamerscore friendly title. And, with only three secret Achievements to fret over, you will see everything this title has to offer in this department when you hit the jmp. |

Zombies... Check. Four player co-op... Check. Yet another great Xbox 360 New Release... Check.
Valve's latest project has arrived. Left 4 Dead should be flooding onto store shelves as we speak and what better way to kick it off then by exploiting what this title has to offer in the gamerscore department. Sadly, the descriptions are vague as to whether some of them are online, offline or co-op Achievements. You will just have to play it for yourself to find out. Never the less, all 50 Achievements can be found after the jump.
Achievement list at XcastOnline.com... Check. |

You now have a whole day to plan your attack on EA's next installment in the Need for Speed franchise. Just like last time, there is a heavy Achievement emphasis on the single player campaign, which is always good and how can you go wrong with Achievements as easy as "Community Member"? Hit the jump for the complete listing. |

Here they are, just in time for all of the the lucky gamers that get to pick up their copies of Call of Duty: World at War early today. Which in turn gives the rest of us, that have to wait until tomorrow to pick it up, a chance to look over all 47 achievements and begin to plan how we are going to get them all. By the look of it, Treyarch has followed in the footsteps of Infinity Ward, as other than a few Competitive Co-op mission Achievements, there will be no gamerscore gained by playing in online matches. With only 2 secret Achievements as well, it looks like Call of Duty: World at War is going to be another relatively easy 1000/1000 title. Complete the game on the "Veteran" difficulty, find the collectibles and setup a time when you and three buddies can pick up the three online Achievements and it is all but finished. Hit the jump for the complete listing. |

EA's upcoming 'First Person Action Adventure' game, Mirror's Edge (starring fascist-government-thwarter Faith), will have you hopping sky-rise buildings and busting out some crazy wall-running Matrix-esq combat moves in your quest to deliver messages to the rebels fighting against the evil corporation. Cool. Your reward for this (apart from playing what is sure to be a fantastic game) will come in the form of 44 new Achievements for a total of 1000 Gamerpoints. Goodie.
The points are set out in a fairly conventional way with 20 points being awarded for every chapter you complete and a bonus 10 for each chapter if you decide to go back and complete in speed run mode. You have your collectible Achievements for finding all three hidden bags within any given chapter and a few for just stringing some interesting moves together.
There are a few Achievements however that may alter the way you play the game such as your 95G award for completing the game without firing a single shot. In other words, just keep running. A lot.
Hit the jump for a full list of Achievements in Mirror's Edge, and be sure to catch up on the latest news related to Mirror's Edge, here at Xcastonline.com. |

Though not such a great idea (with Gears of War 2 hitting on Friday), Quantum of Solace is out and all 50 Achievements can be found in the list after the jump. No "secret" Achievements this time and with a heavy emphasis on online Achievements, lets hope they didn't completely overlook the single player compaign when it comes to gameplay. And, as always, what kind of game would a developer be making if there were not at least one pesky "collection" Achievement. Will anyone be playing this title long enough to pick up all of those multiplayer Achievements? |

The game that may very well turn out to be game of the year, Fallout 3 hits next week and along with it comes all 50 single player Achievements for us to chase after. There looks to be 28 mission completion Achievements and only two pesky "collection" Achievements to worry about. All in all, though Fallout 3 will be a time consuming adventure, it looks like it will pay off with a somewhat straight forward gamerscore progression. Full list after the jump. |

I assume most Fable fans will be picking up their copy of Fable 2 late tonight at one of many midnight launches. But just what can we expect from the Achievement side of things? Well we won't have to play with too many orbs, thank god, as there are only 2 multiplayer Achievements so you will have a total of 48 other Achiemements to keep you busy during your extended play through of Fable 2. Hit the jump for the complete run down. |
